Disability for maternity leave. The program that we use was not very helpful at all and when I asked questions they were very rude. Horrible experience

There is a great variety in female leadership by organization. For example, Retail/Investor Services is run by a woman and has many women in key roles as do Digital Services, Platform Services, and HR (of course). Operations, Finance, and Technology have a long way to go.

Level of Flexibility
1 2 3 4 5The tide is gradually changing, but there's been a great emphasis historically (starting at the top) on a "butt in chair" mentality (e.g. against working remotely). Most of these top leaders have spouses at home full-time, so may not understand the need for flexibility. The tide is gradually changing, but I think we are well behind other companies in this area.

1 2 3 4 5I think we do ok not great here. Flexibility largely depends on your direct manager and your leadership line which means its very inconsistent. Greater focus on flexibility by Sr. Levels of leadership is needed to move this forward.

Took Maternity Leave Here? (Weeks)
6 paid / 6 unpaid
During the time of my maternity leave, it was considered as disability, therefore, I supplemented my pay by using all sick and vacation time. There was not a separate company paid leave for maternity. As of 2018, the company now has a 6 week paid maternity plan offered for women, men, and adoptive parents. This change will provide tremendous relief as parents return to work as it will enable them to still have sick or vacation time to use when needed.
