"Cisco allows for a flexible work schedule and remote working, although in reality it really depends on your role and manager. They provide support for new baby, adoption, breast feeding, and elder care. However, they have frequent layoffs, which are very stressful"

"if you do decide to take a position at Cisco, really research the department you will be working in, and make sure they are a stable org. If they are trying to grow or prove their presence in Cisco it is a big risk"

"Cisco has a heavy lay-off hand, it doesn't matter how well you do your job. The company is focused more on numbers and technology advancement than it's employees success and advancement"

"Great flexible workplace with a focus on family. At company level, huge strides to bring women into leadership roles; at micro level still a way to go in recognising that men and women work and interact differently. e.g a bit of mansplaining, quiet women being spoken over in meetings, many golf days with no alternate option for non golfers (who are mainly women) etc"

"Cisco takes opportunity for all sincerely. I have had amazing career opportunities, and also been able to very successfully be a single mom while working at Cisco when my son was younger, although not as fast of a growth trajectory. "
