"Started as a temp employee and was hired full-time. I have worked in hospitals, and other manufacturing companies and people always make up the main reason for staying with a company. Conti tries hard to support women in the manufacturing and sales realm. We work hard but are rewarded for the hard work. "

"Continental is moving in the right direction. There have been a lot of policy changes over the last couple of years to support women and flexible work. They are also really great programs for development and mentorship. There are still not tons of women in leadership positions, but there is a conscious effort to change this while still promoting the best person for the job regardless of sex or race."

"The flexibility is great. I'm able to telecommute and be there for my kids when they're sick, have appointments or school events."

"I think Continental provides many opportunities, not only for women, but for all employees. You really do have the freedom to define your career path at Continental. If you prove to be a valuable employee, the organization is likely to work with you throughout various stages of your life and career. "

"The organization pushes flexible work globally, but there are still some managers who believe in traditional face time practices and are not as open as others. I had really great managers who allowed the flexibility needed as a working mom. It all depends on your manager, but it's good to know that as a company, Continental supports flexible work! I would suggest asking about flexibility during an interview with a hiring manager if it's something that is really important to you. "

"As an automotive company, most part of the people are men. Only 10% of the manager are women, and the target to 2020 is only 16% (I consider this is not a very challenging one)"
