"Your experience will vary widely depending on your manager. There are no 360 degree reviews, people are rarely promoted and the review process is not taken seriously so your boss would treat you well only out of human decency. The good people here were the best in the industry and have sadly been leaving (1-2/month per department). The people who remain are competing for such few promotions and they have a chance only because more qualified people were not promoted and left - so they will ruthlessly destroy reputations and complain, complain, complain in a hope to get promoted before the company can hire additional people and become less dependent on them. Senior management is genuinely good quality and cares about talent and diversity and it’s possible that they may be successful in bringing change but they are also busy fighting fires. "
