"Elastic genuinely cares about the well being of all of us. Like legit cares. I've never worked for a company that not only talks the talk, but walks the walk. From flexible work hours, to generous parental leave (for all) to a CEO that promotes and openly discusses diversity and inclusion on a regular basis. I still have to pinch myself sometimes because it doesn't feel real. :)"

"I joined Elastic in a Sales Development role based in London and have since been promoted to a commercial account executive role. I have been lucky with the Sales leadership in EMEA. I have also benefited greatly from slack channels like women-of-elastic as well as more specific communities for black women in the company.I also value the extremely flexible working hours in the company, with a program called Shut it down days implemented to provide every other Friday off for the whole company during COVID times. We also have generous COVID time off on top of this where you can take time off to care of children, manage school from home and other COVID related duties. "

"Elastic has a culture where diversity and inclusivity is celebrated. Our CEO promotes an open minded culture among all employees, one of our core values being to come as you are, accept that everyone is different and celebrate that. As a woman who has been with Elastic for years, I have seen career progression and feel that I am respected equally to my male counterparts. "

"I've been at Elastic for about 3.5 years and the company has grown a lot during my time here. I love how consistently Elastic management has wanted to be inclusive and hire more women. We have had company wide meetings about the raw numbers and initiatives to attract more women and diverse candidates. I'm on a team of only men, but I love my team and they're some of the most brilliant but also approachable people I have worked with. I think that Elastic wants brilliant engineers but not at the cost of them being unfriendly people. When I moved into Development I recently found out I was pregnant with my first child and I was a little nervous having just moved into this position (with the least amount of experience on the team) and with the looming adventures of new motherhood. Elastic has a generous maternity leave (16 weeks) and very competitive benefits (compared to my husband's). My team is very nurturing and I've been able to ask multitudes of questions and have collaborative video call sessions when I'm stuck on a pull request. I would encourage anyone interested in a position at Elastic to not write off the company on number of women in Engineering data alone. I can't imagine having as supportive a team and I count myself very lucky. "

"Elastic is a great place to work! The culture is very open and accepting, with a lot of smart and kind people you can learn from. What I value most is the flexibility, there is no micromanagement and I can work whenever I want and from wherever I want, as long as my work gets done. "
