There is a lot of policy and documentation around equality and goals for equality but anytime you look at management it must not really be happening...unless the position is a soft one such as HR or Training or Marketing. This is the same with other minorities...minorities are rarely seen in upper management. Of the 5 managers in my group, 1 is a minority (and it is not the female). It can be demoralizing to see that strides are not really happening when you look at the executive level and see minimal females...minimal minorities."
