"Although General Electric has a permissive leave policy, taking any time off is frowned upon. Women in leadership roles at GE can struggle with work life balance due to the endless demands and the expectation to always be available. Many talented leaders have recently left the company, leaving amateurs at the helm. These new leaders have not maintained the culture of engagement, inclusiveness, safety, and work-life balance that I once valued."
