"GE adopted permissive leave several years ago. What that means is that there is no accruing of time with a PTO bucket. You take what you need. They are also very flexible with appointments and working from home when needed."

"It can be tough to break in mid-career, but there are lots of opportunities once you are in. If you are in college, GE has some targeted colleges they recruit for interns, and internships help to pave the way in the co."

"In certain functions like HR, you see a lot of women leaders BUT when it comes to the technology area (engineering, product management, sales, etc), there are fewer and fewer women in middle/upper leadership positions"
