"In general, the office I work in is very family friendly. We are located in a suburb which makes it much easier to balance daycare/school responsibilities (as oppose to a train commute to NYC). Everyone with kids takes all the school vacations off. it is also very easy to work from home with increases the flexibility. You can manage a 8-5 work day here, however you would be expected to check your email and finish any work from home."
