"The work is rewarding, as it is challenging and the tools are here to be successful. However, it is a boys club and not too many women work here."

"There is no seniority in the warehouse environment, if they feel you can do the job, you get it. There needs to be better communication, but I believe they are working on that. I believe some of the policies should be different for the retail stores compared to the warehouses. This is, by far, the best job I have had."

"I started out over 10 years ago in the Contact Center as a Customer Service Rep. Within a year I was promoted to a Team Lead and worked among other women who were in that role and who were in higher roles. I went into traning about 3 years later and a couple of years ago I went to work for the Business to Business division. I worked hard and was rewarded throughout my time with the option to move around to different areas of the company and to move up in the company. Not only that but from what I recall they did offer something for women in the company precovid that allowed training for women interested in moving up the ladder. I have worked with many women and for many women in the Contact Centers through the years and have found that hard work (as it should) will allow you to move up within the company regardless of gender. "

12 Weeks Paid | 8 Weeks Unpaid
"I know that with FMLA you can get 12 weeks time off once you have been with the company for a specific amount of time. Additionally Guitar Center offers Short Term Disability and other benefits that allow you to be paid up to 8 weeks depending on circumstances. That being said for people not eligible for those benefits I believe they are allowed 6-8 weeks unpaid time. This is for women. I believe men are granted different leave options. "
