"I work in an area in which men are rather under represented so I cannot really speak about any obstacles I would have had as a woman. In general and as for probably most companies, there could be more women at leadership levels. Henkel is very open to this, with a culture though that encourages entrepreneurship, speaking up and raising your voice for ideas, next steps and requires a lot of initiative. I have seen more men taking the initiative, to "do a great job and talk about it" and self-promote. This would be my advise for women at Henkel: be proactive!"

"Overall, Henkel is an employer with good work/life balance, average paid parental leave, and nice employees. However, salary is below average and little to no women hold executive roles. Even at lower levels, women in management positions seem much more qualified than their male counterparts. "

"The people in the company are fabulous but there are major reorganizations on an extremely regular basis. Women often seem to lose out in the new structures, and then they try after the fact to improve it. Seems like more focus on this during the reorganization planning could help. "
