"At the group level, culture and leadership are great. As you get farther up the corporate structure, it turns into a stodgy, good ol' boys club. There are women in the pipeline with the potential to break into senior leadership, but it hasn't happened yet. Of the women in leadership positions, almost none of them are technical and this is an engineering firm."

"The flexibility is great as long as you're getting your work done. I've never had any issues taking time when needed. However, parental leave policies are the bare minimum to meet federal standards."

"Getting maternity leave approved is a hassle. No paperwork can be started until 30 days before your due date, so you have to hope you don't deliver early. There is significant turnover in HR, so every woman I know feels like they are the first person to ever request this and it is not uncommon to get conflicting information from different people in HR."

"Locally, it's great but senior leadership lacks any diversity and there are almost no women in high level positions. The women in leadership roles are in softer areas like Communications and HR vs engineering."
