Not a good place to stay long-term. Good entry-level experience.

I adopted a 3 day old infant. Hyatt doesn't offer paid leave regardless of adoption or natural birth.

Promote more women into leadership positions

  • Recommend to Women?

Maybe. I work in a call center that hires many women for entry level jobs. Women are promoted to middle management often ... mostly actually. However; positions higher are filled by 80 percent men. Th has been true in this workplace for 20 years.

Overall, a great employer. Given the nature of the hospitality industry being a 24/7 operation, work-life balance is hard to achieve for all, not just women. There is an evident lack of women in senior leadership roles, especially General Managers and in certain departments such as Culinary, but this has been a strong focus of the company's over the past few years.
