"It depends upon your career goals and where you want to be within the organization. Unfortunately, some minorities (African American) and others are not fairly treated. No, I'm not an African American woman but I feel I should say something about it. Kaiser has clicks and it's sad but true. I have witnessed a man be promoted in the same department 3 times in one year. However, a woman with an education and experience and certification. Not one time. Make your own call on this one sorry. "Be on guard. The companies policies are great and the company aims high, but something gets lost in the translation of operations across the two entities and unfortunately, people can get caught in the cross hairs. This was the most unhealthy work culture I have ever worked in and will recover from and yet there are great people working there, but the risk is great, depending on your role. Clinical staff tend to have more protection."

"Attitude of fellow employees sucks! Management does not listen to opinions or suggestions, does not encourage input and all departments are short-staffed on a DAILY basis, making it a way of life here. Pay and benefits are excellent."
