      "I feel my work is valued and my input is heard. I feel at times manufacturing is still a mans club, but I work hard to break down those barriers through proving myself with my project work. I feel I have a good working relationship with most union employees and we have mutual respect. Management at times I feel I have to work harder to get in my corner than if I were a man, but I believe with the culture shift Kohler is working through this will be improved. "

      "Kohler follows the standard FML/disability policy for Wisconsin and National FML. 6 weeks paid and 6 weeks unpaid however they have recently enacted a policy allowing an extra 2 weeks paid for the mother for a total of 8 weeks paid and 4 weeks unpaid. This same policy allows for 2 weeks paid for fathers. "

      "There is the perception that men tend to move up more quickly and are hired into higher roles than women, but I do feel respected as a woman and I enjoy working here. There is a cultural shift taking place that is exciting and hopefully will continue taking the company into the right direction."

      "There is a concerted effort to encourage cultural evolution, but they have a long way to go. Maternity leave is fully-paid, but only 6 weeks. If you want to take more, it is unpaid FMLA. "

      "They are trying to make positive changes, but it is happening very slowly. Some areas have flexible work policies but most do not. There are many women in leadership roles, which is encouraging, but it's often obvious the family and work-life balance sacrifices they have made to be in those roles. "
