"Flexibility is part of the culture in theory, but in practice it depends highly on individual managers and the role/department you are in if you get what you need . Some team members are basically always on call, others pressured to cover shifts or work overtime or remain onsite - while others can work from home as needed or make up hours lost for personal appointments quite easily. This is not so much a judgement as an observation - roles and responsibilities vary intentionally and sometimes for good reason, though more effort could be made to equalize."

"Have had many managers, wouldn't want to pin down to just one experience. Most intend to be supportive, and would be there for me for the big stuff, but most also miss the details and day to day support that is really impactful."

"I am fortunate to have multiple female managers despite the fact that much ladership I fall under is male. My department is close to 50/50 M to F ratio so I don't notice much discrimination based on gender. "
