    It is for someone with fairly thick skin. A lot of politics. Coworkers can be quite unfriendly and unwelcoming when you start. Turnover can be quite high. The customers you meet are very interesting. You will definitely sharpen your skills as a salesperson, if you use the tools provided.

Since it was bought out by a large company, it has become more commercial which is sad. Longer hours, more frequent sales (which create more blackout days for taking time off) basically it's taken the exclusivity and luxury that once was Saks and has turned it into a more "common" place.
