"I was skeptical it could be as good as I was told, but my fears were unfounded. Schwab will support you as a human, as a woman, as an employee, and will set you up for success in every way. "

"The difference between my previous employer and Charles Schwab is like night and day. I truly feel empowered to do what I think is right in order to serve the client best. Everywhere else I've ever been, the motto "clients first" is a lie and it's really shareholders first - at Schwab, it's actually the truth. The freedom to be flexible is amazing as well - I have small children and spouse. I've reported to two managers here at Schwab and each of them have actively made me feel NOT guilty for needing to leave at a certain time or work from home, etc. It's been enlightening and refreshing to work for a place that puts into action the values they say they have. "

"There are not enough female financial consultants at this company. More women need to apply. We get a lot of request from our female clients asking to speak to a female consultant and it is disappointing to the them when told that we not have anyone available."

"I am surrounded by many fantastic and strong female leaders. I truly believe Schwab promotes talent without bias towards gender. Benefits, Employee Resource Groups, policies and internal practices have all been family friendly, from what I've seen. Diversity is recognized and voiced as incredibly important among leaders at all levels. I cannot say enough good things about Schwab and fully intend to retire here!"

"The degree of flexibility is, of course, very dependent upon your role. If you're in a phone based role, your options are limited but leaders genuinely care and are very willing to find solutions if you need accommodations for emergencies, etc. Increasing web technology makes it a lot easier to work from home if your specific role allows it and, from my experience, this has been an available option as needed. "
