"The priority is on the bottom line. During COVID, it became clearer that the corporate priorities do not consider employees overall well being and safety. The company has inflexible remote work policies, little respect for employees personal time off, and has a culture that is difficult to support as a leader. Overall the company has great trajectory from a growth and business perspective and pays well, however lack the culture, policy enforcement, and flexibility to retain employees and promote work/life balance. "

"My manager is supportive with items that are within their span of control. Executive leadership is highly engaged which comes with its pros and cons and highly contributes to culture, lack of work/life balance, and disregard for personal time off. "

"I joined the telecommunications industry over 10 years ago from the hospitality industry and as a mom and also someone who very much enjoys her career, finding balance is something that is always a goal. I have found that being in our industry is more manageable than I had in hospitality.
The side benefit that I wasn't counting on when I joined was how rewarding my job is given that we are working on cutting edge technology. The icing on the cake is our company is always looking for ways to improved the benefits that it provides to our employees. First it was to add a Retirement Acceleration Program to our already generous 6% 401(k) match, then it was committing to $15/hour for our workforce and more recently it was enhancing parental leave policies. We haven't even raised our healthcare costs to our employees in 7 years. "
