Advanced Technical Support

Customer Service

January 1970

Company cohesion is somewhat fractured, but the upper-level leadership is mainly female. Culture will vary greatly depending on department. If you find a leader you respect and work well with, it can be a great place. Overall, I don't have any concerns about sexual harassment or other gender-based intimidation or discrimination on ANY team.

  • Recommend to Women?

Maybe. The percentage of women in leadership positions is exceptionally high, but depending on the department leadership varies from actively nurturing of women and equity to more of a "lean in" type liberal feminism. Health Insurance is great, but not entirely covered and a low % covered for the family. Maternity leave is low (2 weeks paid + short-term disability), but the flexibility afforded returning parents is high. Company policies are adequate but don't actively encourage equity for women or family-minded individuals. However, the Service team, in particular, has leaders who actively promote and nurture both professional growth and work-life balance. However, ultimate growth opportunities may be limited based not on gender but simply the setup of the company. If there's a job on the service department available which pays what you need and you will enjoy, I recommend 100%. Those leaders are incredible, and I know them to concern themselves with matters of equity actively. They go out of their way to foster a culture of support and inclusion regardless of your reproductive choices or background. Their efforts to bring together competent, unique, and diverse individuals and treat them all with respect, as well as to remove obstacles to women/poc/families/otherwise marginalized folk, is deeply appreciated.

Dysfunctional organization. Men receive much more opportunity and are favored. Grew too fast and now they don't know how to run the company.

Fight. For. Money. People who just got hired for entry level support are making more money than I am as a veteran employee.
