"On the GS scale so feels fairly equal when it comes to compensation, but sometimes men get more recognition for their work. Overall, very flexible hours if you need to leave to pick up your child or have a doctor's appointment in the afternoon - but this is dependent on your direct supervisor."

"No unpaid leave with the Federal Government. You can only take what you have accumulated for sick and annual leave."
