      "Understand that this is an organization with men in the highest leadership positions. The provost is now a woman of color, and that is going to help change things, but as with all higher ed, change here is slow."

      "Flexibility exists for faculty and exempt status staff. Less so for non-exempt staff. During COVID-19 it has been much more flexible for all, wherever possible."

      "Make sure you are compensated fairly. Ask how your job success will be measured. Do not succumb to group think. Find kindred spirits amongst your women colleagues as there are many wonderful people that work there."
