"As the company is under new leadership, I am hesitant to say what the culture is like currently; however, in the past, I would definitely say it wasn't a place where one could count on her skills and hard work to be counted on to be recognized and valued."

"In the position I had, there was entirely too much work to be completed within a standard work week, and with the continuing Merger & Acquisition strategy coupled with a lack of understanding of the complexity of the technology of the systems obtained in the acquisitions by some in positions of leadership, many in less senior roles were left responsible for tasks that should not have been assigned to us for the compensation we were receiving."

"Company currently pays for STD (which is 6 weeks at 60% of salary; 8 weeks at 60% if you had a c-section. You're also required to use all of your PTO while out. The maximum time off allowed is 12 weeks per FMLA. I think WellCare can and should do better to provide additional paid and unpaid maternity and paternity leave. Hopefully this will change soon."
