"I believe that the company truly is committed to making this a great place for everyone to work at, but you often have to fight to be seen and heard — especially if you aren't at the New York HQ."

"Workplace flexibility varies greatly depending on your manager, or your manager's manager. This seems unfair because it means not everyone experiences the same level of flexibility — I've experienced both quite flexible and not flexible at all."

"AppNexus is an incredible place to work for women. We still have some work to do, but the commitment to D&I from the top down and overall culture makes me really proud to be here. "

"The inequality at AppNexus is super team specific, I've had awesome female mentors and there are teams that have a great culture, but my professional experience has been very negative, especially when it comes to gender equality. I'd caution women applying to AppNexus to make sure their direct manager is an advocate and their team is known as a supportive one. I'd also keep in mind that AppNexus reorganizes frequently, so be prepared for a bit of career roulette. You can potentially develop here, but there are places in the organization where the only promotions and pay increases go to a very homogenous group, I'd be wary of this before you accept a position."

"Very flexible overall with work-life, but not very receptive to any commentary relating to improving current state. There's a very strong feeling of AppNexus being amazing at all things related to diversity and inclusion and this attitude can often get in the way of making additional positive changes. "

"AppNexus largely is a woman-friendly environment. Leaders are doing more to promote women into leadership positions and ensure equity across the board. There are certainly still some people who don't "get it," but speaking up and calling those folks out is encouraged."
