Should I reach out?
A job that I was really interested in and made it to the final round of is still listed as 'Actively Recruiting' on LinkedIn. It's been about a month since my final round interview and about 3 weeks since the director I interviewed with let me know the position had been filled by someone with about 20 years of experience on me (I just want to note it was for an entry-level role). The role was never unposted though.
Should I reach out to see if it's actually still open or take this as they just didn't want to hire me?

Sometimes Positions posted are linked to company branding and take a good amount of time to be unposted (unfair- yes).
However it happens, and I would not call, because if you made it to the final round and they interviewed you, and the person they chose did not work out, they'd of likely reached out. (I'm sorry).
I'd say this position did not work out because there is something better coming, you'd never have had an opportunity with had you received the other position.

You may never hear back, closure needs to be on your own. They may have hired or not, but they did not choose you. Sorry to be Brutally Honest, but it's time to move forward.
