I am not sure how to handle this situation.
I was approached by a company stating they are interested in me after seeing my resume on LinkedIn. I did check into the company and they seemed to be a legit company. The claim was they were in a hurry to hire someone and rushed me into the interview. After the interview I did not hear from them for almost a month and then suddenly they contacted me asking for a sample of my work. I supplied them with a sample and again there was radio silence for about three weeks. They again came back asking for another less technical sample of my work, which I again supplied. Within a day they refined the description of the sample and asked me to resubmit. I resubmitted the sample of my work and have not heard from them since. It has been almost three weeks. I did reach out to them to inquire about the status of the job search and was told they would get back to me. That was about 1 week ago.
I was told, and I am beginning to suspect they are trying to get work from me for free and I was told to report them. I am not sure what to do or think.
Thanks for your insights
