Update on interview

Interview went well but I did not get the job. To be honest, it broke my heart and spirit. I but that is life. So I am still trying to get as much done as possible at my job every day, though this week is rough. I started the job hunt again yesterday. I am trying to decide if I want to get my Masters degree or if 58 is to old.

I never thought of a professional certificate.

Lucia, Sorry to hear about the job interview, but you are inspiring in your resilience! On returning to school: great idea if the degree truly supports the direction you want to take. Another option is to earn professional certifications that help you achieve your goals. I mention this option because it might be more cost-effective/time-efficient than a degree program. On your age: don't let it stand in your way.

Good point. I am exploring options, I have my Bachelor's in Healthcare management but want to branch out. Just not sure which direction. Thank you!

Having spent the last 20 years in education may have colored my perspective but I truly believe you're never too old to continue your education. While the Masters may or may not benefit the job hunt, it will benefit you in other aspects of life.
