The reason my coworker immediately left the company is highly unethical
Only a week after new hires started working at our company, my coworker quit — saying he felt like he couldn't succeed with the new team! While I understand that some people don't mesh well with others, I can't help but notice that these hires were from much more diverse backgrounds than our former team. This particular coworker has been notoriously hesitant to D&I trainings and was definitely wary when my company started rehiring with a focus on inclusivity.
What are your thoughts on this? I think it's highly unethical (and even just plain rude!) and I think he could even be confronted about it before he moves on somewhere else. I'm not sure it's my place to reach out to him after he's left, but his reason for leaving definitely bothers me!
