Cousin relocated and got dumped immediately--looking for remote HR/admin work
This is a combo request for recommendations and warning to all. Long story short, my cousin gave up a good job and home to relocate and move in w/her fiance. On the very day she moves in with him (two weeks ago), he started acting cold and distant. Now he says, "I thought I was ready to be a husband and a stepfather, but I'm not." He says the solution is to end the relationship, and she and her son need to move out (right after the child has been enrolled in school and started his first week). Obviously she is emotionally devastated, but her main goal is providing for her 8-year-old and finding a good job and home here in the area where he's enrolled. So here's where we can use your help: She is a Human Resources/Business Administration professional. She has a BS degree and years of combined experience working in higher education, community organizations, medical/pharmacy, and banking. If you know of any remote positions or companies that are hiring, please let me know. She has been applying for months now--even before the relationship drama--with no luck. I'm a resume expert, and I revamped her resume myself. Remote is necessary at this time because (due to Covid) the child's schooling is online, and he's too young to stay home alone. Any leads, prayers, positive thoughts, etc. are appreciated. Thanks!
