My formal education is in art and art history, but I really want to change my career path towards something I've always been passionate about, which is human rights and international relations. Why I didn't decide to major in that in college, I couldn't tell you, but here we are.
I am looking into getting a Certificate of Professional Achievement in Human Rights & International Relations, but I am hesitant about spending the money on the course when I'm not sure if it will actually help me get anywhere. Does anyone have any experience like this, where you wanted to pivot your career and successfully did so after earning a certificate instead of a 4yr degree? Or the opposite? Thanks!
