I am seeking someone that may perhaps have experience with a similar situation. I was laid off due to Covid-19. I am almost 6 months pregnant, and I have an upcoming interview for a job in the State of Wisconsin. As much as I want this opportunity, it is stressful to begin a new job this late in pregnancy with a lot of unknowns. I have a lot of questions that I want some more insight to before going in to the interview. This is obviously something I will have to clarify with the employer as well, but I would love advice from anyone who can share some insight.
1) Is there usually a 100% attendance policy during the first months (doc's app), and
2) Do they offer any paid/unpaid leave from day 1? Based on what I have been reading I won't qualify for FMLA.
I've tried to do a lot of research on this, but I can't seem to find these answers. Any advice will be highly appreciated.
