Ok I know I know that we need to support each other to build ourselves up especially when we are in leadership roles, but my god. My new boss sucks! She goes back and forth on so many things. Gives terrible directions and then when you take initiative she comes back and says no check with me before you do anything. Also I want you to be in charge of this, but don’t take control of it. Like seriously. My previous bosses have been men and they have done a 100x better job. I don’t think she has managed people before so maybe that is the issue. Our one on ones will be such a waste of 30 minutes because half the time she spends it in silence just thinking. Shouldn’t you be more prepared? Ugh. Thank god it’s Friday

If I work a job that pays both salary and commission in CA and I resign before the regular commission payout date, will I receive the commission?
I’m receiving an offer for another role, but the quarterly commission for my current role is due to payout later this month. Should I wait for the payout before putting in notice? I’d really love to have a week or two off before starting the new job but I don’t want to miss out on the money if I can avoid it. What are the laws here?

Real Estate Internship
I am a college student, and I am looking for a real estate internship. I have the passion to learn more about the industry. I am majoring in engineering, but I think it will be great to explore both avenues. I love engineering, but I also think I need to dive deep into it since I am very passionate about real estate. I would appreciate it if anyone could direct me to any real estate internships or connect me with others who know about them.

It's been 9 months since I was laid off from my job.
I had worked for my last employer for about a year (after being unemployed for 2 years due to pandemic layoffs). I don't lack experience, I have about 15 years in my industry. Now I'm back in the unemployment cycle - I've been looking and applying for jobs, had some "networking" chats, and only 2 interviews. To keep busy I've been doing some volunteer work and teaching music part-time, which doesn't pay the bills but gives me some spending money.
At this point, I don't know how much longer my job search will take or what I should do. Applying to jobs in my field has resulted in no responses. Applying to jobs outside my field has resulted in no responses. Applying to jobs above my previous role has resulted in rejection emails that I don't have the experience the employer wants in a candidate. Applying for jobs below my previous role has resulted in no responses. I've spoken with career coaches and people who are working, and I'm told to keep trying. I'm fortunate to have the time now to practice my musicianship as it gives me something to do, but at some point, I need to start earning money again and soon.

I’m looking for an easy to read spreadsheet to track credit card expenses.
Pretty much just want to be able to break them down in categories without having to label everything individually. Example: office supplies(not what was bought), building utilities (not all listed separately) misc. expenses etc. Something that is easy for someone not very computer literate to read.
