I am in a job below my skill level but planned to stay at least 18 months so not to be a job hopper.

I've been in this job 10 months. I started this job after a horrible nightmare job that lasted 10 months and I had to get out of there for my health. I have not been searching, but I received a call from a recruiter who saw my previous experience in a highly specialized role. This job would be much higher pay plus bonuses doing what I did in that former role. I explained to him that I was thinking I should give this company at least 18 months of my time, so I didn't think I should pursue it. He encouraged me to submit my resume and just talk to them anyway so I agreed to send them my resume. I had been thinking I should not change jobs again until I have been here 18 mos to 2 years because I already have my last job of only 10 months. I know it is up to me, but I would like to hear what others think. I want to be very careful about my next move, and I truly want to make sure my next job is the best job with a company that values me where I can stay long term; but you don't always know until you are in the job. I have a long list of questions to avoid my last job and current job pitfalls. My manager at my current job is nice, but the job is way below my ability, in addition to heavy micromanagement for basic tasks so I am often demoralized. Please be kind. I am 56, a hard worker and I just had some really bad luck in these last two jobs. I am trying to figure out what is the right thing to do (in the event this job might become an offer).
