Is it weird to send personal thank you letters after being let go?
Hey FGB Community,
I'm among the many who were let go this week. I was essentially part of the 2nd wave of this company's layoff's so far and given how transparent the company has been about our current standings, this came to no surprise to me. The company is failing but the people are so amazing. I don't want to end on bad terms as I have the utmost respect for my boss, colleagues and leaders throughout the org. I know I was let go given the circumstances, not because of poor performance and I'm not sure if sending a thank you note is going a bit too far, too early?
Any thoughts or advice on this?
