I have a friend I’ve been supporting in her job search (I have a resume side hustle specifically to support women) and she is struggling to find a role in government that will allow for the flexibility she needs - ability to work remotely.
She is highly qualified, and has the right educational background, but it seems like the jobs just aren’t out there.
As government employee myself, this doesn’t surprise me! But, I’m wondering if anyone here knows of state/local governments leading in this space? Or, government-adjacent organizations (think: project management, strategic consulting, process improvement) that have better flexibility.
