I don't have all the answers.
The expectation is that, as a coach, I have all the answers.
As a coach, I will hand you this magic life change soup on a silver platter and you just have to bring a spoon to slurp it up with.
(That's what I'm supposed to tell you and sell you in my marketing copy!)
Here's the reality: I don't have all your answers.
I have plenty of tools when it comes to your career change to help you get to your answers, but it's not my responsibility to create your change.
That's your responsibility.
I provide you the tools, but you have to be willing to make a leap that might not necessarily make sense on the surface.
You have to be willing to gain clarity on what actually makes you happy.
You have to be willing to try something new, even if it's out of your comfort zone.
This is a joint effort.
So any coach out there that promises you the moon and the stars when it comes to your changes, keep in mind, your change starts with you.
Having a coach is a great way to gain the tools and a new perspective but a coach can't hand you change.
Oh, and if anyone has the recipe for that magic life changing soup, please let me know.
I have a spoon ;)
