I disagree with responding to online job postings.
Less than 10% of job seekers get a job that way. 80% of jobs are NOT posted. Job seekers of any age must network, get info meetings and write directly to hiring managers to get a job. 80% of people find jobs through building their network starting with people they know and then meeting new people or by writing directly to a hiring manager at a company. Agree with using LinkedIn to your advantage .Make sure to include key words and skills. Get real recommendations from former bosses or colleges, not simply endorsements.
