FUP on application

I've applied to a job a month ago. I only got an automatic e-mail this week confirming my application. I know the timing is confusing! I really wanted to send a follow up e-mail reinforcing my interest in the position, but the automatic reply e-mail I got was a "do not reply one". What do you guys think I should do? How can I follow up on this matter?

Great advice above! Try to look for in the company's website or LinkedIn. Best luck!

I think it's reasonable to follow-up on the application and use the timing of the confirmation email as reason for your request. You have a valid reason beyond a standard follow-up to reach out because you applied a month ago and you are just now receiving confirmation. There may be something go on with their systems they don't know about! The HR website should have some form of contact (email probably), but you may have to do a little digging. Look for a FAQ page regarding the application process. Good luck!

I would go to their website and find a contact for the HR department. If you can't find an email, I would call by phone.

You can follow up with HR email address from website. It would be good if you can find a specific name to address an email to.
