How to manage your inner critic

During the most challenging times, I made a conscious choice to stay positive. The reason I say conscious, is that very often when things didn’t go well, I started to hear an overwhelming voice of my own self-doubt, saying that I was not good enough and lacked some valuable traits. If you can relate to these thoughts, then you are no stranger to the powerful voice of your inner critic. The first step is to realize that your inner critic is actually NOT you and label it for what it is – an intruder. To avoid confusion: considering rationally what skills you need developing is a helpful evaluation, telling yourself that you cannot do it or need to prove something to others can be damaging to your general wellbeing. Unfortunately, women are affected by self-doubt significantly more than men are: a recent study found that 40 percent of working millennial women experience self-doubt compared to just 22 percent of men. So if you feel like your inner critic is getting too powerful, please feel free to reach out: I am happy to recommend some great books, also many amazing coaches are offering FREE sessions now, and I am happy to facilitate the connection.

It is a conscious effort to stay positive and be vigilant regarding the thoughts you have in your mind. It's so easy to let the negative ones take up residence without any questions. So I urge us all to stay vigilant against becoming an accidental self-saboteur. You can and you will triumph against those negative thoughts if you take action to do so. Check out a blog I did on this topic recently: https://www.beyournumberonecheerleader.com/blog/how-to-triumph-against-the-self-saboteur-within-you I am more than happy to do a free session to talk about tools on how to tackle this. I believe that you will take action and therefore with patience and time you'll get the results you are seeking.
