First up, congratulations! What an exciting change. I'd say be open to advice/feedback and ask lots of questions, but be confident in your abilities. There's a great article on what to do your first week on a job here: https://fairygodboss.com/articles/9-things-to-do-the-first-week-of-a-new-remote-job-if-you-want-to-be-successful

Without knowing the industry, it's hard to give advice. But, network both internally & externally. You need to know how things get done, both at your prospects and at the company you work for. Learn who the decision-makers are for whatever you sell. And listen - This one seems obvious, but is rarely practiced. Customers buy solutions, not products. Listen to learn what problems they face and be their solution, rather than trying to get them to buy your product.
Congrats on the new role! Coming from PR, you already have so many skills that will be valuable in your new role - You're going to do great!

Congratulations! Sales is a whole new world! Hopefully your new company is providing initial sales training for you. Are you starting with any other new sales people? If so, creating a relationship with those people will help in the onboarding. Also, find out who the "sales players" are in the company. Since you are new, and you are comfortable with it, invite them to a virtual coffee to see if they can provide some initial advice or best practices of the company. Securing an "internal coach" is always a good think!
