Has anyone heard of a company doing a try and buy with an existing employee? Meaning the company I work at wants to me to do the managers job but they won’t increase my salary. I was told they want me to do the job and “maybe” they will increase my pay in 6 month. I have previously been a manager in the role at other companies. Also they have not provided a job description and said there will be a training program but have not shared any details or plans when I ask for them. Now they are pushing me to make a decision ... about a role that maybe I’ll get $500 more a month - 6 months from now, but that’s a “maybe”. Anyone have any experience with something like this or advice?
