After an extensive search for a new opportunity it all came down to timing.
When looking for a new opportunity make sure you hold true to what is most important to you and what you are willing to compromise on. Be prepared for the interviews and what the benefits are when the offers come in it can be a little overwhelming. So having a plan is critical in making the best decision for you!

Yes - I call them my "non-negotiables" versus my "gee, wouldn't it be nice" things. So important to know what your 3-5 non-negotiables are so you aren't swayed by the shiny objects some employers may offer that you don't really want and may not even take advantage of.

Base Salary, Location, Insurance and PTO. I don't count bonuses because they are not guaranteed. I also have a list made on excel with as many of the varaible I can think of.

Hi Pressy,
I also like to use a Decisional Balance Sheet when there are multiple offers and it's sometimes difficult to choose :-), which is a good problem to have. It allows you to see clearly what each opportunity means for you, your growth, your social status, your family, etc. You can incorporate different criteria to weigh in.
