Be a more vulnerable leader in times of crisis....

My colleague shared this with me and it really resonated with me. I think we all need to allow ourselves to be fully present and show our vulnerability with our teams. Hope you enjoy! https://hbr.org/2020/10/todays-leaders-need-vulnerability-not-bravado?utm_medium=email&utm_source=newsletter_daily&utm_campaign=mtod_actsubs&utm_content=signinnudge

Asking for help is a struggle for me. I feel like I should know all of the answers, but I don't get irritated when people ask me questions, so I guess I should follow suit! I also work in a culture where making mistakes and admitting them is commonplace, so that part is easier. Working in an empathetic culture is great, and I highly encourage developing that type of workplace!

Helping women unlock their potential

Michelle - Thank you for sharing the article. I love the points and reminds me that being vulnerable builds trust which is the foundation of relationships. My favorite is when you make a mistake, admit it, and apologize. Although, telling the truth is right up there too. What about you? Which one is easy for you and which one is a challenge? Early in my career, asking for help was difficult. Sometimes it's easier to do it yourself than teach someone else.
