Agency professional looking to make the move client-side.
I've been working at marketing agencies for my entire career. My role has always been in client service/account management, and I've found myself getting more and more stressed the longer I deal with clients, and feel ready to make a move. I'd love to go "client-side", i.e. take on a marketing role in-house for a brand or at a company (marketing and/or brand manager). Lots of companies are now building their own internal marketing & advertising agencies, which also interests me. I don't have an MBA (which is sometimes required for these types of roles), and don't have plans to get one. Any tips for how to obtain this type of role?
