Brush up your resume and start applying elsewhere - while continuing to do a good job for your current employer. Meanwhile, research scripts on how to ask for a raise. When you are ready, set up a meeting with your manager and ask for the raise you deserve. Typically you'd come to them with hard data about your productivity, responsibilities, and average wages for similar positions in your area. You might see that the new person has the same job description, but there may be other factors in their pay offer - experience, other soft skills, etc. When you ask for a raise, it is best to focus on why you deserve it rather than comparing yourself to others.
If/when a good job opportunity arises, put in your notice and go elsewhere.
