No they don't, especially if they are using a large system likfe ADP or Workday. Those systems are hard coded by an HRIS systems person and often the Talent/Recruiter has no control over the content so they just pick the response that is most close to the reason for rejection. Companies also have to post when they are doing VISA work so sometimes jobs go up and down in 30-60 days for legal posting reasons. End of year many jobs get taken off for EOY budget reasons, AKA fill it or lose it and then HM has to rejustify it in the new year and new budget cycle if it was unfilled for more than X amount of days. Don't personalize the response or the reason because other than they filled it, it was taken off, closed, filled internally or simply you don't fit what they want or its a VISA thing, at least you got a reply...the jobs that fall off just do that.
