Are you always worried?

It’s no wonder you’re worried, you’ve got a ton on your plate. But before you start to freak the flip out let’s stop your runaway freight-train of worry in its tracks. Let me introduce you to the Worry Tantrum. You’re already familiar with it because a Worry Tantrum works just like a toddler having a sh*t fit. You know what I mean. We’ve all seen a cute little one get all worked up. There’s that moment of calm before that little cutie pie turns into a pint-sized Satan. There’s a reason for that, the body has six seconds between a trigger and when it’s fight for flight takes off (aka all hell breaks loose). So, as soon as you get triggered by worry, take six seconds to do something different. Take three deep—I mean DEEP-down-to-your-toes-breaths—during that six seconds. These three deep breaths will stop you from getting to that heightened state, where you begin to obsess on every worry in the world.
