Keeping up with work when you're sick

Any tips for how to manage your workload when you've hit a big cold and are out of the office? I am staying in bed and trying not to do too much work but feel like its not a huge deal to fire up the laptop and attack my emails...honestly I'm also afraid of how I'll get buried under an avalanche of work if I don't chip away at the work a little at a time, even when I'm sick. I am putting these expectations on myself, its not something my boss or company expects so just wondering if anyone else feels this way or has thoughts on how to balance work when out for a winter cold!

Your health is so important. As long as you're communicating with your boss on how you're feeling and what you can honestly get done, I'm sure you'll be fine.
