My boss keeps dumping more responsibility on me than the rest of the team, even though we are all in the same role. When I ask why, she says I'm the best at the job, the hardest worker, the most experienced, and I can handle more. That may or may not be true, but I also have some lazy counterparts that don't do that well at their job, and complain how stressed they are when they barely work, but that seems to get them a free pass. I've never been a complainer, and I'm not going to play the I'm so stressed card, but I keep pushing back and telling her this is too much, and she keeps assuring me she's confident I can get it done. I actually want to tell her to get the other people to pull their weight so I don't have to carry all of this on me, but obviously, I can't say that. Can anyone share some recommendations on how to deal with this?
