What's your go-to drink at weddings?

Weddings are long nights of fun, but what do you tend to drink at them? I'm not a fan of champagne. I love red wine, but it can make me sleepy. I like beer too, but it can be bloating, especially when you're in a dress.

I love a tequila soda with lots of limes! No sugar so less hangover and the lime + soda water are a little more hydrating.

My sister drinks this all the time! I can't get past the smell of tequila haha but maybe I'll give it another go!

Go with a cocktail or drink that is relatively clean - meaning a good quality spirit and a low sugar/carb mixer. For example it could be a vodka tonic with 1/2 seltzer and 1/2 quinine. Drink water in between drinks and pace yourself. Everyone processes alcohol differently. Experiment prior to the event and see how you feel the next morning. Enjoy!!

I tend to hate sweet drinks, so this advice def works in my favor! Thanks for the tips :)

Vodka. It mixes well with many things and has no sugar. I also alternate with water and lime.

I do tend to gravitate towards vodka at these events... I guess it's just making sure to balance it out with water in between drinks!

Beer or wine or a bloody Mary.

What's the secret to a good Bloody Mary?? I always want to have one, but feel like I only like the first sip. haha

The secret to a good bloody Mary is either the tomato juice or the mix that it is made with. If you like tomato juice, then you will normally like bloodys... After that it is the spices/flavors that are added...

I love a simple pineapple juice with Malibu or I will tend to get a fruity (not overly sweet) martini. I find these to be a little lighter but yummy.

Vodka, especially Titos and club soda with lemon and lime wedge.

Totally agree club soda with lime is great! It is a good way to re-hydrate while also looking like you are having a drink.
